So much for that lunch…
Well, I had a great day yesterday (one day after the angel food cake and vanilla ice cream episode). Today, I wound up going out with friends from work to Acadiana, a Louisiana-inspired contemporary seafood restaurant.
Check out my lunch options. I probably could have done okay, but in the spirit of Mardi Gras, I ordered the southern shrimp & grits which was excellent. I also ordered a side of collard greens which were actually really good, and not too greasy. And I only had about 1/4 of a biscuit with pepper jelly.
So all in all, I’m not exactly helping myself in terms of seeing a better number next Monday, but I didn’t exactly go too nutty.
Tonight is going to be healthy, I promise!
