Oh, that’s bad!
Okay, well I was partly successful. Now I see why the old RSS feed only used excerpts! It doesn’t support HTML, so the entire text is compressed so that paragraphs and stuff are gone. Yuck!
I don’t think there are too many folks who have subscribed to the old RSS feed, so what I’d like to do is actually get rid of it. If you are subscribed to the old feed (you’d know; it used to only have short abstracts of posts and now it includes full text in a single unreadable long paragraph), please subscribe to one of the newer feeds: either the atom feed or the RSS 2.0 feed.
Note: If you see paragraphs in your newsreader, don’t worry, you don’t have to do anything. You’re subscribed to one of the newer feeds.
